Angela Barnes won the BBC Radio 2's New Comedy Award in 2011 and has soared up the comedy ranks ever since becoming a regular face on TV and voice on radio. She has also appeared on: Russell Howard's Good News, Russell Kane’s Whistlestop Tour for Radio 2, Stand up for the Week, written for Radio 4’s The News Quiz, played on Eddie Izzard’s Laughs in the Park on BBC Two, and developed her own series with BBC Radio Comedy.

Opening the show is the incredibly talented Ria Lina who’s charm and intelligence allow her to get away with anything from the most audacious routines to subtle wordplay.

Ria is Winner of Best Comedy Show at the Greater Manchester Fringe and Nominated for the Amused Moose Laughter Awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and we are excited to bring her to the Lighthouse.

Also performing on the night is Jack Hester who has won various comedy competitions including winning King gong at the Comedy Store 2019 and Beat the frog at the frog and bucket club Manchester!
